Primary Election: June 2, 2026,* is the last day for California residents to register in person to vote in the primary election.
General Election: November 3, 2026,* is the last day for California residents to register in person to vote in the general election.

*Note: California allows for in-person same-day / conditional voter registration at designated locations for people who did not register 15 days before the election. Mail Voter Registration Deadline
Primary Election: May 18, 2026, is the last day for California residents registering via mail to vote in the primary election to postmark their application forms.
General Election: October 19, 2026, is the last day for California residents registering via mail to vote in the general election to postmark their application forms.
