In-Person Voter Registration Deadline
General Election: November 3, 2026,* is the last day for California residents to register in person to vote in the general election.

*Note: California allows for in-person same-day / conditional voter registration at designated locations for people who did not register 15 days before the election. These provisional ballots will not be processed or counted until the county elections office has completed the voter registration verification process. Mail Voter Registration Deadline
General Election: October 19, 2026, is the last day for California residents registering via mail to vote in the general election to postmark their application forms.
