What is Gun Sense?
Gun sense is acknowledging that there are common-sense solutions to gun violence, which claims 35,000 American lives every year and injures many more. If you believe dangerous people shouldn't have access to guns, you've got gun sense. And if you're one of the majority of Americans who support policies that can help save lives from gun violence, you're a Gun Sense Voter.
Gun Sense Is
We can protect our communities from gun violence while still protecting the Second Amendment.
Guns should be kept out of the hands of dangerous people like domestic abusers and convicted criminals.
Ending gun violence isn't a red or blue issue. Protecting lives from gun violence will require the leadership of all Americans -- regardless of party.
We reject the lies and misinformation of the Washington gun lobby. We support common-sense policies that have been proven to help save lives.
An overwhelming majority of Americans support common-sense gun safety laws -- and record numbers of them are casting their ballots based on whether politicians support them, too.
About the Gun Sense Voter Campaign
Gun Sense Voter is a campaign of Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund and Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund, with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, the volunteer grassroots network of Everytown for Gun Safety. We're a non-partisan grassroots movement of moms, mayors, gun owners, survivors of gun violence, law enforcement officers, veterans, community leaders, faith leaders, and more.
Gun Sense Voters are organizing to elect candidates at every level of government who support common-sense gun safety laws -- and hold NRA politicians who vote against the will of the American people accountable.
